Agadatantram is one of the eight basic branches of Ayurveda dealing with toxins, poisons, their symptoms, complications, related diseases, and management. In the current academic system, it is named Agadathantra Vyavahara Ayurveda evam Vidhi Vidyaka.
It comprehensively integrates subjects related to both Ayurvedic and modern toxicology, forensic medicine, and medical jurisprudence.
Curriculum and departmental activities are aimed at developing a fundamental understanding of the concept of "Visha" (poison/toxin), its kinds, symptoms, and building the competence to recognize and handle major clinical toxicological issues.
Displays forensic science models alongside moist and dry samples of significant toxicological origins (both live and inanimate).
